I wouldn't have thought of the brown and pink color scheme for Yankee Puzzle - I might have chosen a red and blue one, but we were supplied with the idea of pink and brown, so I made mine pink and brown.
Yes, I wondered about the relevance of the color scheme too. You used it to include more of your pretty florals along with a very interesting ribbon swirl (or that is the best description I can come up with)to achieve a good likeness of the featured example.
Reminds me of the sweater I bought my youngest daughter for Christmas. Brown and pink (and tan and coral) argyle! Pretty color combo that I never would have come up with.
